Dear all, what is the requirement for creepage distance between connector terminals, where one connector pin has DC mains up to 75 VDC going to a DC/DC converter and the next connector pin has secondary circuits from the other side of the DC/DC converter. The DC mains is grounded (a three wire connector). The secondary circuits are < 30 VDC (i.e. SELV), and grounded. The standard in question is IEC 60950.1991 (/ EN60950.1992 / UL1950 3. edition), ยง2.9.3; Pollution degree 2. Material group IIIa or IIIb.
Any possibility to show compliance with the standard by testing and not by measuring the distance in mm? Are some of you using printed circuit boards of Material group I or II? If yes: Any problems with that?
