Before taking any action to comply with BCIQ/BSMI requirements I recommend that you check with your export/import regulator and/or a sales office/distributor in Taiwan; have them check with Taiwan customs to determine if your product is categorized as needing the approval or not.
It happened that our products were exempt, saving us a lot of what would have been redundant testing and a massive engineering change order.
