Hi everyone,

following my information...

1.- Telecom approval, granted by COFETEL. For line equipment, there are
no accredited testing labs yet. Approval based on a Conformity report
based on foreign reports and a provisional certificate will be obtained
(validity 1 year). For radio equipment, the COFETEL testing lab is the
only accredited lab. Permanent certificates can be obtained testing the
product in the abovementioned testing lab.

2.- NOM approval. For electronic equipment granted by NYCE. There is a
long list of accredited testing labs: CANIETI, ANCE, ITS,... . Testing
necessary for obtaining approval. Applicable standard will depend on the
type of product (NOM-001, NOM-016, NOM-019).

Hope it helps,

Alex
