I do not know about the Schaffner system but in response to your last question, the 10/1000 Bellcore pulse is a good indication for world wide compliance but the common mode 2/10 1000 amp pulse is also a tricky pulse to deal with. This basically tests your system grounding strategy and tip and ring spacings. I would also order this pulse module to avoid any surprises. Regards, Bob
