We have a compact 3 meter semi-anchoic chamber which is not suitable for
official final emissions testing due to its compact size. Nevertheless, we
have found the radiated emission results in the chamber are within +/- 6 dB
of what we find on the OATS. I would like to reduce that difference to +/- 3
dB so that we will have a higher degree of confidence that a unit passing in
the chamber with a certain margin will pass on the OATS before we commit to
running the "final" test. While I realize that correlation is not
theoretically possible, it may be attainable in practice with a certain
error band - hopefully no more than 3 dB. I would be interested in hearing
any thoughts on if and how this goal can be obtained.
