My company is interesting to sell in the USA market a Transparent Digital Transmodulator (TDT), which translate the QPSK signal from the satellite into QAM for its distribution to the users in a SMATV system. I need to know which are the USA mandatory requirements or regulations to put in the USA market this type of equipment. I suppose must comply FCC part15, but I am not sure about the safety regulations (I think is UL6500), in this case is mandatory to affix the UL mark on the product, which is the situation in the Canadian market.
