Hello George, basically that's a wrong understanding of the CB Scheme, mainly in China.
A lot of manufacturers here in China are thinking CB is the same like a Safety Mark e.g. UL, GS, VDE or similar marks. Once they got it they just mould it on their products, because they are thinking it is a kind of advertisment. But actually according to the CB regulations it should be not allowed.
