It truly is an entirely different animal! And, I can't imagine confusing them.  
:-)

Dictionary definitions of "Minx":
Websters "(n.) A pert or a wanton girl."
American Heritage "(n.) A girl or young woman who is considered pert, 
flirtatious, or impudent"

But, maybe that's what all those question marks were for.
