Group, If I am self-certifying and using EN61000-6-2 generic, would a Hard Disk Drive be considered as needing testing to EN61000-4-8?
If yes, my equipment is 24vdc powered and the -6-2 standard states testing at the frequencies appropriate to the power supply frequency. So what frequency is DC? (dumb question, right?) Any suggestions.? It seems that the test is really aimed at CRTs which can be impacted by magnetic fields. Anyone with experience that would like to share would be appreciated.
