Every manufacturer builds generators differently -- for modeling purposes, each is supposed to look like a storage capacitor dumped through a network consisting of both series and parallel resistors and some series inductance. The parallel resistance components determine the open-circuit voltage waveform; the series components determine the short-circuit current waveform. As long as the generator appears to be a 2 ohm source, the manufacturers are free to use any descrete components they want in order to meet the standards requirements.
Another issue is that to get the correct waveform out of coupler/decouplers, the internal components of the generator are sometimes modified since the coupler/decoupler itself becomes part of the circuit that defines the waveform.... Tell me what you're trying to achieve by the modeling and perhaps I can help (at least with KeyTek stuff.....)
