I believe you'll find your CE Mark to the LVD and EMCD are in line with
common practice, but...

For the letter of the law, you need to look at the Recreational Craft
Directive (94/25/EC).  If you want to include this Directive on your
Delcaration, I believe you'll find that for this sort of equipment it boils
down to requirements for Ignition Protection testing.  The testing may be
able to be waived if the products are identified (marked) as not suitable
for installation in areas requiring ignition protected equipment (engine
rooms, battery compartments, areas where gasoline (not diesel) tanks or
fittings are present, etc.)
