I read in !emc-pstc that Brian McAuliffe <[email protected]> wrote (in <[email protected]>) about 'EN 60335 - test lab and toilets', on Wed, 29 Aug 2001: >Also, what safety standard(s) apply to electric hand dryers, the type we all >use in the gents toilets from time-to-time.
'All' is fightin' words, these days! Very surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be a section of IEC/EN60335-2 dealing with electrically-operated hot-air hand dryers. At least, I can't find it on the public part of the IEC web site, http://www.iec.ch It would be a TC61 publication, or from one of the SC61* sub-committees. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only. http://www.jmwa.demon.co.uk Eat mink and be dreary! ------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE EMC Society Product Safety Technical Committee emc-pstc discussion list.
