Maybe sort of off topic.  

What's the disposal procedures for batteries such as 
the A, AA, AAA, C, D, lithiums ... ? 

Are you supposed to just throw them into the trash? 

What if a customer a customer calls in to ask such 
a question and let's say they're in the US, Canada, 
or Europe?   What are you supposed to say or 
what agency or website?
