BSI committees are formed from representatives of trade associations, government departments, public bodies, consumer interests and some academics. If your company is a member of a trade association (BFA?), you could be appointed to represent that body on BSI EPL/92. Now that BREMA is merging with FEI, it would be a good thing to have a representative of hi-fi manufacturers on the committee. If you want to progress that, send me an e-mail and I'll explain the procedure. IEC Working Groups are formed from 'experts' appointed by national standards bodies. They do not represent anyone but themselves. IEC Technical and Sub-committees are formed from delegates, not 'members', appointed by the national standards committees. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only.
