EMC-PSTC List Members,
I have been specifying and developing power supplies for IBM and Lexmark
products since 1990. Because our products are marketed internationally, we need
to know each nation's:
*  Primary voltage and tolerances.
*  Primary frequency and tolerances.
*  Wall plug(s).
* Language(s) for user manuals and technical documentation.

So, for the last 11 years, as part of my job I have been assembling and
compiling all the information I could find on these topics. We have freely
shared this information among the power-supply and product-safety community at
IBM Lexington/Lexmark for the last decade, taking advantage of everyones'
experiences to refine this data and help us make even better decisions on new
products.

Oscar Overton has been in our Product Safety department for the last two years.
He is responsible for specifying, testing, and getting safety-agency approvals
for all the linecords used with Lexmark products. Together we have created a
massive webpage summarizing almost everything the two of us know about
specifying domestic and international power supplies and linecords. My boss has
given his blessing to our making this information publicly available at:

    ftp://ftp.lexmark.com/pub/networking/internat.htm

Please be patient while the webpage is loading. The text and images take over
200KB, and our ftp server supports a number of other departments too. The
unusual URL is a compromise, letting us make this information freely available
through the corporate firewall while placing control/responsibility for it
solely on me.

We would appreciate your comments, especially:
*  Additional sources of information.
*  Corrections.
* Possible improvements, to make the webpage even more useful.

Thanks!

We put the webpage on an ftp server so that I have personal
control/responsibility for it, while still making the data publicly available.

For almost 11 years I have been researching international voltages and

My boss has given his permission to make this information public, so here it is:
