Chris and group: These terms and their definitions may be found in the ISO14000 standard and its supporting documents. "Environmental impact" comes word for word from ISO14001 para 3.4. In the EMS scheme of things, enviromental impact includes the complete life cycle of the equipment from raw materials to end-of-life disposal. The support documents in the series should be consulted for a complete scope. Then your analysis based on this takes over. Above all, document your findings.
