My question is related to the European market and I will appreciate any
comments that any one have.
Currently we have an outdoor unit at Customer Premises Equipment side which
getting a -48Vdc supply from another indoor AC/DC power supply, through
cable with length of 20-100 m. We like to supply directly 220V to the
outdoor unit (AC/DC conversion will be done at that same outdoor unit) form
indoors power box. First, is it acceptable by the European country
regulation? Is there a limit to the power cord/cable length? Type of
connection to supply (indoors), can it be by plug with cable length of 20 m
and up or have to be permanently connected? Any information and
requirements regarding this kind of installation will be welcome
