Hi Jim (Robert),

I think what NTC is getting at with this wording is their requirement that the applicant for approval must be a local in-country company. This is in fact true, but there are ways to arrange for type approval if you don't have a local presence yourselves in the Philippines.

Best regards,

Greetings

I am trying to obtain information relative to Type-approval/acceptance of
Radio Equipment for the Phillippines.

After review of the NTC website, I concluded that approvals must be obtained
through an authorized agent or distributor and cannot be obtained directly
from the National Telecommunications Commission.

Does anyone have experience with type-approvals in the Phillippines or
recommend an agent or local representative?

Regards,

Bob Sullivan
