Folks. I have some digging to do but wonder if any of you have some
off the top of your head comments about the pros and cons of switching from
FR-4 to FR-2 material for pcb substrates. I am guessing that I can get inner
trace dimensions that allow me to attain the trace impedances I need, so
we're down to tracking indexes, flame ratings, board operating temps etc.
What obvious pitfalls am I overlooking? I have some pretty high speed stuff
being driven (125 Mhz - 1.25Ghz)
I have my PCB layout guys get me a more info but wouldn't hurt to
have other references if you have them handy.
        Thanks
        Gary
