Thanks to the group for the great information. All the responses drew my focus to two primary standards; UL60950 and TIA/EIA/IS-968. After I have had a chance to obtain and review them and to take some of the other suggestions into consideration, I may have additional and more specific questions, but for now, all of you have given me a clear direction to follow.
