Hello all - I am hoping to understand better the history of the FCC emission requirements for industrial electronic products. If some one can lay out a brief outline ending up with what we have today that would be most appreciated. As I remember it - In the 80s and before, there was an exemption allowed for industrial product and you had to mark in your manual as such that your product could interfer etc. I thought that had changed and now one had to meet at least class A. My main interest is the lead into where we are today ending with the current requirements. Details on testing, and labeling would be appreciated.
