Thank you all for the feedback on lower levels for ESD. What an education! Without question, we certainly need to consider lower-levels to minimize ESD failures/issues in the field.
How about Surge? Is it overkill performing lower levels? Should this only be considered for devices with gas tube arrestors etc..? Then the last question, is lower levels only a concern for the -2 & -5? Why not IEC 61000-4-3, -4, -6, -8 etc..
