Dear all, Seen it in the shell of my old notebook. It looks like embedded brass stands forced into moulded holes. These fasteners have tinny gear (sprocket like teeth) on the outer rims and a centre treaded hole. It ought to be custom designed for the purpose of maintaining conduction.
