Dear all, According to the CISPR 11:1997+A1:1999, the microwave oven is classified as GROUP 2, CLASS B equipment. The limit for the microwave oven is required by figure5 and table 6~7 where the unit is dBuV/m.
It is known well that CISPR 19: 1983 "Guidance on the use of the substitution method for measurements of radiation from microwave ovens for frequencies above 1GHz", and the unit is dBpW for measuring ERP (Effective Radiated Power). Is the CISPR 19:1983-01 still effective? Thank you! Best regards, Yu-Lung Chen Tattung EMC Technology Co. No.11, Lane41, Fushuen St., Jungshan Chiu, Taipei, Taiwan 104, R.O.C.
