Hi Group,
I am about to embark on a Global (I decided Europe, North America and Australasia and handle others as required) Approvals requirement on several of our products, a small (60VA power reqt) electronic terminal with an analogue modem. I outlined my requirements to my local Test House that I normally use but was astounded at the costs for each of the individual items. I stopped and had a serious re-think on my strategy. I have listed the Standards I would want the product approved to and then tried to short cut the amount of tests required. I would appreciate comments on any particular area of your own expertise. I am sure this forum has had similar scenarios. Again, I appreciate the input of this forum. THANKS! Safety Requirements EN60950 (CE) UL 60950 (USA) CSA 22.2 60950 (Canada) AS/NZS 3260 AS TS 001 (NZ?)
