This question is addressed to those testing visual LED emissions to EN 60825-1. What test equipment are you using to measure the apparent source size? Given that LEDs are about 5 mm in diameter, LED fiber optic transmitters are about 2 mm in diameter and plastic fiber optic cable is about 1 mm in diameter, are you able to measure their apparent source size with reasonable accuracy?
