Colleagues, I am trying to answer a question posed to me, and I can't seem to find 'chapter and verse' in the EMC Directive.
A product has been assessed under a set of harmonized immunity standards applicable in 1995/1996. The applicable harmonized standards have been replaced with updated versions as well as the requirement for assessment against additional standards. The product has not been changed since the original assessment but limited sales to select clients (who purchase them to expand their current installation) still occur. Can someone direct me to the appropriate sections in the EMC Directive which require re-assessment to updated standards. John A. Juhasz GE Interlogix Fiber Options Div.
