Cecil,
ITE does require certification in Korea, and certified equipment must be
labeled with the MIC mark and some accompanying information about the
certification. But regulations do not mandate a location for the label or
marking. The label must be permanently affixed and easily seen. For a small
item that could easily be picked up it could be on the bottom, but for
larger or permanently installed equipment it should be visible when the
equipment's installed.
These same stipulations about label placement apply to telecommunications
equipment, as well.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

To All,
Does the Korean EMC requirements specify EMC any marking on the
product dataplate or label?
