Ed: There is a special place in Heck reserved for censors.
The problem for any company is that there is no way to know for sure what the censor software will find undesireable. I saw that with web filtering at a previous employer. In particulat, I remember that it didn;t like to display an Essex County website. OK, we can all see why it stopped that one. But, there were other sites - technical sites I am talking about - that were blocked for no apparent reason. It was necessary to get IT to specifically put those sites on an OK list. When a site was blocked a picture of a flashing red light came up on your screen and sirens sounded from the PC. It would have been very embarrasing if I had actually cared. Regards, Jacob Z.
