Hello, I am looking for a concise and up to date source of information regarding the agency compliance approval process of networked digital equipment. Specifically, digital video recorders, video switches and the like.
Where can I find a framework for standards applicability? Does the information/data type and transfer rate play a major role in classification of the system(s)? Does this mean I must consider NEBS testing? I apologize if my terminology isn't up to snuff, but I need to learn this. This sounds like FCC Part68 territory to me, which is a new arena. Before I dig much deeper into the wealth of information out there, I want my search narrowed by those in the know. thanks in advance, Chet Summers Compliance Engineer Pelco ------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE EMC Society Product Safety Technical Committee emc-pstc discussion list.
