The CIA world fact book is kind of interesting and shows some really obscure places and makes for an interesting geography lesson. If you want to get away from the crowds, Bouvet Island this is the ideal vaction spot, 1600km SW of CapeTown. (the only people I know who are likely to go there are a few of my fellow radio amatuers). I almost went there with South African DXpedition team many years back.
