The languages in bold type are those that we used for product manuals at
my previous company, a major printer manufacturer that marketed its
products worldwide. For the networking and digital office products that
I helped develop there, we usually wrote product manuals in US English,
then had them translated into French, German, Italian, and Spanish. But
we usually provided the technical reference manuals only in US English.
Marketing groups always had the option of translating the manuals into
other languages, of course.
