Amendment 1 to EN 55022:1998 and CISPR 22:1997 includes the requirement for ferrite clamps or tubes on cables (power, telecom, I/O, etc...) that exit the open area test site. I have heard that this amendment may be removed or postponed due to its conflict with ANSI C63.4 and the inadequate definition of the ferrite devices. Does anyone have any updated information on the status of this amendment, which if it goes through as is, must be met by August of 2003?
