I have recently been advised that BSMI is now requiring that all parts of the host system used for BSMI approval testing must be BSMI approved, effective Jan 2002. This has created an issue for us since the system we used for testing last December does not appear to have BSMI approval, and I have not been able to locate anything but a mouse with BSMI approval. The product is a tape autoloader/compact library tested to Class B requirements.
Does anyone have recommendations on a suitable host system with BSMI approval? Other experience on how you approached the new BSMI requirement?
