I read in !emc-pstc that [email protected] wrote (in
<[email protected]>) about 'Meaning of
"Expired" in OJ Listings', on Tue, 12 Mar 2002:
>In the OJ's list of harmonized standards section "Date of cessation of
>presumption of conformity of the superseded standard" , what is meant when
>it states "Date expired xxxxxx"?
>
>Example: A2 to EN61010-1 has "date expired 1.4.2001"

It simply means that the date is in the past, not the future. This is
part of the Commission's project for re-writing the English language so
that Anglophones no longer have an advantage over others. (;-)
