As far as I understand, FCC changed  their rules ( a couple of years ago ..)
for Equipment Authorization. Today, you can go for DoC, Verification or
Certification.

Well, by examine some FCC parts and also information on the FCC web site, I
still see that FCC mention the Notification and Type Acceptance procedures.
I thought those two procedures were not applicable anymore.

So, does the FCC Notification and Type Acceptance procedures still exist ?
