We are seeking an experienced product safety Engineer in our South Wales (UK) manufacturing location.
With a minimum of HND in electronics ( or similar) and at least two years electronic design experience with at least three years safety evaluation to EN60950. The role is to assist the design engineers with product approval, primarily in the areas of product safety to meet requirements such as EN60950. As a secondary function within the approvals department the successful candidate will be expected to perform EMC testing and approvals, although experience in this area is not essential. Ideally should have a strong telecoms background. Knowledge of copper and/or optical DSL products would be a distinct advantage.
