Hi all

I have a product which shall have CE marking and CSA/UL approval, but
I'm not sure what standards to choose.

The product is a portable cutter/grinding machine for electrodes for
welders. The moving parts are 90 % encapsulated and have special holes
in which the electrode can be positioned for right angles etc.

The product has a On/Off switch and a custom made motor (230 Vac for EU
115 Vac for US) which is not approved. It has a nice handle and can be
carried around by hand and placed on tables or on the floor.

For EU I thing it is only under Machinery and EMC directive, but the
customer wants also Low voltage directive to be fulfilled.

Can someone please help me to find the right standards. I have some idea
but I'm not sure.
