Dear Miguel, for relays we have rule that we are allowed to reduce the test time from 60 seconds to 0.5 seconds, when we increase the voltage by 10 percent. This has to be verified by a capability study. In most cases this rule works perfect

I want to find out how a dielectric test carried out at 2500Vac applied for 5 minutes compares to one carried out at 3000Vac applied for 1 minute. Thanks, Miguel Abrahams CAE Inc.
