Dear Alexandru,

Unfortunately I'm currently sitting in the departure lounge of Nice Airport
and therefore do not have all the files to hand to provide you with a full
answer.

However, in order to assist you further I would actually need to know more of
the product(s)/system that you are looking to import in to the Russian
Federation. There are some similarities with procedures and technical
requirements throughout the Former Soviet Union countries, so please let me
know if you also intend to export elsewhere within the region.
Having said that there are several items of legislation that must be met and
are fairly complex to the uninitiated, where these can potential cause
extended (and frustrating) delays as well as unnecessary financial outlay.

I am on vacation for the next week and will not have email access (as on a
sailing boat), so if you'd like to send me more details of what you're
proposing during that time I will look into the matter further during the week
of 11-August and get back to you.

Kind regards, Edward
