I am looking to test to ASTM F 2052, "Standard test method for measurement
of magnetically induced displacement force on medical devices in the
Magnetic Resonance environment". It involves applying a large magnetic
force to the EUT to see if it will get pulled inside an MRI machine during a
scan.

Subject: RE: MRI-safe test lab

Patricia -

Can you be more specific as to what standards are applicable
and what aspect of such testing you are looking for (EMC,
safety, operational, other)

I am looking for a lab that can test medical products for
use within an MRI room. Does anyone know of a test house
that can do this, preferrably in the U.S. on the west coast?
