Hello, All, In reviewing the ATEX directive(94/9/EC), it appears that a safety and control component (overload relay, circuit breaker)located outside of a potentially explosive environment which controls a process or equipment inside a potentially explosive environment must meet the requirements of the ATEX directive, and must be marked as such. Correct?
Also, must a "notified body" be used as a registrar for a component located outside of a potentially explosive environment(zone 3)? Thanks in advance.
