You should explain on the shipping documents OUT of the EC area that the products are in transit for refurbishment, and on the shipping documents INTO the EC area, explain again that the products have been refurbished to the **original specification**, and reference the documents that were used to ship out. If a Notified Body approval is required, you should contact the Notified Body and get an OK for what you propose to do.
