Hi All, For those of you that like to think in the frequency domain (as opposed to the time domain) you may like the Technical Tidbit article I have posted for this month on my website at http://emcesd.com .
It is similar to last month's article on how signals are affected by probing, but with the results presented in the frequency domain and showing dramatic results (while the indicated signal is 4X the original signal, the measured node itself is 1/3 of what it was before being probed a difference of ~12X!). Abstract: Last month's Technical Tidbit presented simulation results in the time domain showing how probing a signal can significantly effect it. This month, simulation data is presented in the frequency domain to again show that under realistic conditions, active probes without damping resistors can significantly affect the signal to be measured.
