I tried to explain that. In many places in the standards, 50 ohms is
described as '34 dB(ohm)', which is the '20log' value. The same applies
to 377 ohms = 51 dB(ohm). 

For me, it doesn't matter so much that '20log' is inconsistent with the
definition of the (deci)bel, but that there is no certainty whether a
given 'dB(ohm)' value is a 20 log value or a 10log value.
