Guidelines on the application of Directive 89/336/EEC
(http://europa.eu.int/comm/enterprise/electr_equipment/emc/guides/index.htm)
lists induction motor as an example of equipment which fulfills
the criteria to exclude equipment from the scope of the EMC Directive.
