Is there a requirement in Japan addressing low smoke and flame spread concerns for electrical equipment intended for installation in an air handling space, whether similar or different from those in the CEC and US NEC? This would presumably exist in a building code or other installation code.
If this requirement exists, what standard(s) apply? Would testing to UL2043 meet the requirement? Regards, Peter L.
