People
The seasons greetings to everyone.
My understanding of the status of the application of the 2001 edition of
EN61010-1 (including amendments) was that it was not yet mandatory and for
"a period" both the 2001 edition and the 1993 edition (including amendments)
could be applied. This is taken from the National Forward of BS EN61010-1.
The "period" referred to seems to be dependant upon the updating of
EN61010-2.
Thus I think the crux of this issue is what is the date of cessation of
presumption of conformity of the superseded standard i.e. EN 61010-2 (1995)?

I believe this date is 1st of April 2004. I would rather use month names as
confusion arises between date formats.
Can anyone confirm this or offer any other information?
I did have a link to a table showing the DOCOPOCOSS of standards, but have
lost it - can anyone help with this also?

Ian Gordon
