Greetings, The following Quality Systems Engineering position is open at Applied Biosystems in Foster City, California. Staff Engineer--Support our Quality Management System by working with various departments on developing and implementing processes and procedures for compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements. (ISO 9000, QSR, etc.) Perform and lead internal quality audits. Work with external auditors. Collect, assemble, and analyze Global Quality System information and prepare reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics computer software. Monitor, report and provide guidance on corrective actions. Analyze the effectiveness of our quality system and provide process improvement plans. Education/Experience--Minimum BA or BS in Life Sciences discipline or related experience. Minimum 8-10 years experience in Quality Systems. Experience with ISO 9000, ISO 13485, QSR, IVD, etc. requirements. Must possess effective communication, teamwork, organizational, training and project management skills.
