For more information visit www.calient.net Calient is looking for the following professional: Title: Regulatory Electrical Engineer Location: Santa Barbara, CA Responsibilities: -Coordinates regulatory agency tests and approvals as required including: UL, FCC, CE, and NEBS -Champion product design methods to ensure regulatory approvals within new and existing products -Evaluates requests for design changes and suggests necessary alterations for regulator -Assist in debug and testing of board designs for new and existing line modules -Design and build custom boards to support testing of optical switching equipment Requirements -Minimum educational qualifications - Bachelors in electrical engineering -Must have at least 5 years experience in regulatory engineering within the telecommunications industry -Direct experience as the engineer responsible for regulatory agency certification of hardware (UL, CE, NEBS, FCC) -Experience in board level design and implementation -Excellent written and oral communications skills -Excellent lab skills Calient Networks is an Equal Opportunity Employer. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
